This is for all y'all hardcore heads who love *My Kaleidoscope* and want more!

Featuring 90 minutes of candid conversation and storytelling, *My Kaleidoscope Interviews* serves as a companion piece to Myka 9's new book *My Kaleidoscope* (myka9book.com).

In addition to interviews, Myka 9 recorded a cappellas of three battle raps from the mid-80s and one verse from the early days of the Good Life Cafe, performed in the style of the time for historical accuracy.

Ten hours of interviews were recorded as the basis of the oral history in *My Kaleidoscope*, and those recordings were carefully curated to form this collection. Many of these selections were quoted in the book, so you can hear Myka say it in his own voice. More than 20 minutes of selections weren't covered in the book at all, including stories about LL Cool J, 2Mex, KRS-One, Flava Flav, Biggie, Eyedea, and Shock G.

These interviews took place over zoom, usually between midnight and 4am, Myka lighting joints while I sipped coffee -- trying to get all the questions in before his old iphone battery died...

Note: Please forgive the lofi recordings. These interviews were recorded solely to quote in the book and were never intended for release. However, I found them to be so entertaining and historically important that they just have to be shared with the underground heads.

Sometimes you come across an artist that is compelled to do what they do. I appreciate the musicality and the arrangement and the artistry of the songs. He sings and plays like his life depends on it. I appreciate the humanity of the lyrics… Like reading Tortilla Flats, or watching Nobody’s Fool. Ceschi is a bright star.
